How do I add or remove apps from my EPICO PVR?

Overview

Adding an app

  1. From the main menu, select Apps.
  2. Select Google Play Store.
  3. If you did not enter your Google account credentials at the time of the installation, enter your username and password to sign in.
  4. Browse or search through the apps & games and select the application you would like, then select Install.
  5. After installation, the application will be visible in the My apps section.

If you need to create a Google account, go to accounts.google.com, select Create account and the sign-up form will appear.

Good to know:

  • The EPICO 4K Cloud PVR has an internal storage capacity of 16 GB. To manage your storage, go to Android TV Settings then Devices preferences then Storage.
  • Some apps may require an additional cost that is not managed by Cogeco. For these apps, you’ll be charged under your Google account according to the Google terms and conditions.
  • Many games require that you have Android-compatible game controllers connected to your PVR or receiver.

Removing an app

  1. From the main menu, select Apps.
  2. Select Google Play Store.
  3. Select your profile picture from the top level menu.
  4. Go to Manage apps and games
  5. Choose On this device then choose the app you want to remove.
  6. Select Uninstall.
